Nossaman Ranked in Top 10 Percent on Minority Corporate Counsel Association's Diversity Scorecard
We are proud to participate in the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) Law Firm Diversity Survey (the “Survey”). Founded in 1997, MCCA is the preeminent voice on diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal industry with a mission to recruit, retain and promote diverse attorneys. Utilizing data from the Survey, MCCA creates a scorecard for general counsel to provide a transparent industry benchmark to better evaluate outside counsels' Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) metrics and performance.
Evaluated in comparison to similarly sized firms (101-250 lawyers), Nossaman ranked in the Top 10 percent for the composition of underrepresented populations in both the Demographics and Promotions categories in the Survey's key component areas of gender, race and LGBTQ+.
In the Demographics category, the Survey examined the total percentage of employees at the Firm categorized by gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation and disability. We scored in the Top 10 percent for equity partners (race, LGBTQ+), associates (gender) and of counsel (LGBTQ+).
When evaluating opportunities for advancement, we ranked in the Top 10 percent for underrepresented populations in the following areas:
Race
Executive/Management Committee
Partner Review Committee
Practice Groups/Department Leaders
U.S. Offices (Leadership)
Gender
Associate Review Committee
All New Partners (Non-Equity)
New Partners Promoted (Equity)

We are proud of the strides we have made in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion and are inspired by the journey ahead.
