Jennifer Meeker a 2023 Nominee for the Inspirational Women Forum & Leadership Awards

Jennifer Meeker is among an outstanding group of nominees who will be recognized during the Los Angeles Times’ 2023 Inspirational Women Forum & Leadership Awards. Winners will be announced during the Inspirational Women Dinner on November 7, 2023 at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

The awards are designed to highlight the accomplishments of outstanding women from corporations and nonprofit organizations throughout California who have demonstrated noteworthy success and accomplishments over the past several years. Jennifer is being recognized for her accomplishments as co-chair of Nossaman’s Insurance Recovery Group and leader of Nossaman’s writs and appeals practice.

In her role as co-chair of Nossaman’s Insurance Recovery Group, Jennifer counsels and litigates on behalf of policyholder clients in a wide variety of insurance claims.

As the lead of Nossaman’s writs and appeals practice, Jennifer has successfully handled dozens of civil appeals, writs and petitions to the U.S. Courts of Appeals, California Supreme Court and California Courts of Appeal on behalf of both public and private clients. Her experience includes appeals involving land use/coastal commission, real estate and landlord/tenant, water rights, eminent domain, insurance coverage, the Federal and California False Claims Act, attorney’s fees under the Attorney General statute, construction disputes, trade secrets and trust litigation.
