John Flynn Named "Energy and Environmental Trailblazer"

Nossaman Partner John Flynn was recognized by the National Law Journal as an "Energy and Environmental Trailblazer" for 2015.

Mr. Flynn was acknowledged for his track record in land use litigation matters, including his early use of a fast-track, record-only approach, which led to successful outcomes for his clients in as little as four months.  Flynn employed this strategy (along with Nossaman Partner Robert Thornton) to defend the California Transportation Corridor Agencies' toll road projects in Orange County, moving all three projects through the courts and onto opening ahead of projection.  Mr. Flynn was also recognized for the work he is doing with Valero on its crude-by-rail project in Northern California.

For this honor, the National Law Journal composed 50 profiles on energy and environmental attorneys across the U.S. who are "impacting the crucial intersection between energy production and the environment" and "come at these important issues from many different angles, facing anything but simplicity as they tackle the challenges of an ever-evolving landscape."
