Coming to America: The Imperative to Consider Direct Advocacy with U.S. Government Officials

Chris Carney and Fred Dombo participated as panelists during “Coming to America: The Imperative to Consider Direct Advocacy with U.S. Government Officials,” a webinar hosted by CONSULEGIS on September 28, 2022.

The panel explained diplomatic approaches for entities that are new to the United States in regards to communicating with administrative agencies within the United States. Advocacy for entities operating within the United States is fundamental to the direct approach towards legislatures and administrative agencies. Specific examples were provided on how appropriately utilizing such advocacy skills, as well as how going beyond merely complying with the rules, can produce tangible results for these entities that are new to the United States.
