Overview

Natalie Cuadros represents commercial and public agency clients in federal and state court in disputes involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, transportation and real estate issues. Her practice encompasses all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial and settlement negotiations. Beyond the courtroom, Natalie also routinely advises clients on how to navigate and comply with evolving legal frameworks in various industries.

Prior to joining Nossaman, Natalie worked as a commercial litigation associate in the San Francisco office of a national law firm.  Natalie also clerked at the Los Angeles Superior Court and focused on civil matters involving breach of contract, trade secrets, labor and employment, defamation, landlord-tenant and related disputes.

  • Member of legal team representing the City of Alameda in breach of contract dispute involving lease of municipal golf course;
  • Member of legal team representing Sacramento County Employees’ Retirement System in breach of contract dispute involving implementation of pension administration software;
  • Routinely represented clients in breach of contract disputes arising from services agreements, shareholder arrangements, and related commercial transactions;
  • Member of legal team representing former battery manufacturer in a nine-figure bench trial in the Central District of California involving CERCLA claims where government sought more than $100 million in damages; supported two phases of trial which resulted in favorable determination from court limiting the scope of client’s liability;
  • Member of legal team defending tribal gaming authority in whistleblower action involving employment and money laundering claims in federal administrative tribunals and secured favorable settlement for client; second-chaired trial before tribal administrative review board and obtained complete judgment in favor of client;
  • Member of legal team representing corporation in deceptive trade practices putative class action in Northern District of California alleging unfair competition, fraud, and violation of the Consumer Legal Remedies Act; prepared motion to dismiss resulting in dismissal of entire action.
