Overview
Julia Botezatu is an employment litigator. She defends employers in labor and employment disputes, including single-plaintiff actions and wage and hour class actions. She has experience defending clients in matters alleging harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination and breach of contract. Julia also has experience handling matters before administrative agencies, such as the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Outside the courtroom, Julia has experience providing advice and counsel to employers on issues including hiring and termination, employee classification, leaves of absence, workplace safety and employee handbooks.
