Overview
Alex Chuang represents pensions, benefits & investment plan investors nationally and internationally in connection with public market and private market investments. He works on a wide variety of alternative investment classes, including credit, energy, infrastructure, private equity, real estate and venture funds. Alex provides strategic advice on investment policies and compliance matters for public pension systems.
Previously, Alex worked for a San Diego law firm where he represented private healthcare and technology companies in merger and acquisition deals. Alex counseled clients in risk assessment, rights and obligations relating to entity disclosures and restructuring instruments.
During law school, Alex clerked with the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA) in Washington, DC. ILPA is the largest private equity limited partners trade association representing 500 institutional investors and more than $2 trillion in private equity investments.
