Two Partners Recognized In LABJ's Most Influential Minority Lawyers Supplement

Alfred Smith, Chair of Nossaman’s Water Practice Group and Yukiko Kojima, a Partner in the Firm’s Infrastructure Practice Group, were recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) in its Most Influential Minority Lawyers" supplement.  The supplement highlighted 40 of the L.A. region’s most stellar minority attorneys that are working to keep the people and businesses of Los Angeles on the right track.  The LABJ highlighted Mr. Smith’s work helping negotiate one of California’s largest water contamination mitigation settlements in favor of his clients and winning a unanimous decision from the U.S. Supreme Court and Ms. Kojima’s work on some of the most important public-private partnerships (PPP) and innovatively delivered projects in the U.S. including the $2.3 billion I-4 Ultimate Managed Lanes Project in Florida and the $1 billion UC Merced 2020 Campus Expansion Project.
