TIFIA loan approved for Triangle Expressway

the Infrastructure Journal article, "TIFIA loan approved for Triangle Expressway" reports that the US Department of Transportation will provide a Transportation Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (TIFIA) loan worth US$386 million to develop the North Carolina Turnpike Authority's (NCTA) Triangle Expressway toll road.  The article reports the amount is one third of the necessary $1.1 billion in bonds to pay for the project.
