Nossaman's Infrastructure Group Recognized as both a Project Finance and Transportation "Practice Group of the Year"
Law360 named Nossaman’s Infrastructure Practice Group as a Practice Group of the Year in the Project Finance and Transportation categories.
Law360 reported that in the Transportation arena, Nossaman has been at the forefront of some of the country's most high-profile transportation projects for years, and that the Firm had a banner [year in] 2015, serving as lead counsel on a number of large, innovative transportation projects for various Departments of Transportation in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, North Carolina…and more.
In its piece recognizing Nossaman’s work in the Project Finance area, Law360 noted that the Firm has played a key role in massive public-private partnership projects over the past year, such as the $1 billion UC Merced 2020 project—the first US campus expansion to use a public-private partnership availability payment model; the $2.3 billion I-4 Ultimate Project for the Florida Department of Transportation—the largest availability payment transaction ever completed in the US; and the $125 million street-lighting project for the Michigan Department of Transportation--the first transportation Public-Private Partnership in Michigan and the first such freeway-lighting project in the country.
