Simon Santiago, William Fisher and Edmund Caplicki Join Infrastructure Group
LOS ANGELES (September 26, 2006) - Nossaman LLP today announced the addition of three attorneys to the firm's rapidly growing, national infrastructure practice. Simon Santiago, Edmund Caplicki and William Fisher have all joined the firm from construction law and government contract boutique Wickwire Gavin following that firm's acquisition by Florida based Akerman Senterfitt.
"We are fortunate to have an infrastructure practice that is in high demand across North America and are committed to serving that demand with highly qualified practitioners. The new attorneys not only meet our stringent criteria but also bring with them many years of valuable construction experience which is a superb complement to our existing capabilities," said Nossaman Managing Partner Scott P. "Santiago, Caplicki and Fisher are excellent additions to the team. This is the latest of several steps we have taken to meet the increasing demand we are seeing in the market-place for delivery of large scale transportation and other infrastructure projects using innovative permitting, procurement and financing. Simon J. Santiago joined Nossaman as a Partner in the firm's Virginia/D.C. office. Mr. Santiago received his B.A. from the University of Illinois and his J.D. from the Washington College of Law at American University where he graduated magna cum laude.
William B. Fisher joined the firm's Virginia/D.C. office as a Senior Attorney. Mr. Fisher received his B.A. from Allegheny College, a M.A. in Government and Foreign Affairs form the University of Virginia and J.D. from George Mason University School of law, with distinction.
Edmund V. Caplicki III joined Nossaman as an Associate in the firm's Austin, Texas office. Mr. Caplicki received his B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law.
