Nossaman Hosts Event to Raise Awareness About Homelessness Issues

11.18.2015

On November 17, 2015, Nossaman LLP hosted a reception in the Firm's Washington, DC office in partnership with the Homeless Persons Representation Project (HPRP) and The Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless (WLCH) to raise awareness about how the legal profession can help to end homelessness in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area during the week of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness week.  Featured speakers included Antonia Fasanelli, Executive Director of HPRP, and Patricia Mullahy Fugere, Executive Director of WLCH.  Also in attendance was Congressman John Delaney (D-MD 6th District).

Nossaman presented both HPRP and the WLCH with $2,500 donations to support their efforts to end homelessness in Maryland and the District of Columbia.  Nossaman attorneys are also doing pro-bono legal work for HPRP on a number of issues.
