Nancy Smith Named WTS Los Angeles Member of the Year

Nancy Smith has been recognized by the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Los Angeles chapter as its “Member of the Year” for 2022. This award recognizes Nancy’s commitment to the WTS Los Angeles Chapter over the past 20+ years and her current service as an advisor to the president of the organization. She has provided invaluable counsel to the chapter and is deeply dedicated to her work with the organization. Nancy will be formally acknowledged as Member of the Year during the organization’s Scholarship & Awards Dinner on November 16, 2022.

WTS Los Angeles is one of the largest chapters of WTS, a 6500-strong international organization dedicated to the advancement of women in transportation. Local chapter members and supporters—both women and men—range from public transportation agency general managers and executive directors to Fortune 500 CEOs to university faculty and students to legislators and journalists—and they cover every transportation mode and discipline.
