Nossaman Partners Corey Boock, Barney Allison, and Associate John Smolen were mentioned in the Law360 article "Mayer Brown, Nossaman Seal $677M Ohio River Bridge Bonds."  They make up the team representing the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA), who reached financial close on East End Crossing, which will span the Ohio River between Louisville, Kentucky and southern Indiana.

The article noted that the financing is the biggest private activity bond offering ever for a surface transportation asset under the 2005 federal law that set the standard for eligible projects, as well as the first issuance of availability payment-backed private activity bonds (PABs) for a bridge project.  It is also the first public-private partnership availability project debt rated by Standard & Poor's.

The article mentioned that financial close came the day before President Obama unveiled new financing tools to encourage private investment in public infrastructure.
