Nossaman #1 North American Legal Advisor for Transportation PPP Projects

Los Angeles, CA (July 13, 2009) - Nossaman's Infrastructure Practice Group has been ranked highly for the second year in a row by the leading UK industry publication Infrastructure Journal. In the Infrastructure Journal projects database, Nossaman is ranked as the number one transport PPP legal advisor in North America by volume of deals, in both the Financial Close category and the Mandate Won category for the first half of 2009. Compiled by Infrastructure Journal R&A, the projects database is the product of independent and in-depth reviews of global project finance market activity.

Nossaman has been advising the Florida Department of Transportation on the $1.8 billion I-595 Corridor Improvements Project, which reached financial close in March of 2009. Additionally, Nossaman has been advising the Texas Department of Transportation on the North Tarrant Express and I-635 projects, and the North Carolina Turnpike Authority on the Mid-Currituck Bridge project. All three of these projects have reached the preferred bidder stage this year and are included in Infrastructure Journal's database.
