Nossaman Partner Fred Kessler was quoted in the Public Works Financing article "GOP Leaders Table Reauthorization Bill," about the removal of the surface transportation reauthorization bill from the summer floor schedule. The move makes another one-year extension probable, the article said.

Mr. Kessler discussed the fundamental transportation revenue problem in the U.S. "Everybody fears proposing increased taxes and/or user fees, and so our transportation system funding seems destined for further devolution to the states and/or erosion of this incredibly valuable infrastructure," he said.
