Reuters quoted Nossaman Partner Paul Weiland in the article "Drenched California bids adieu to drought, for now," about the official end to California's three-year drought and continued concerns about the state's water system.

Mr. Weiland is quoted about a 2009 agreement between legislators and then-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger which created new state groups to draft a state water plan.  The $11 billion bond measure that glued together the deal was pushed to 2012.  "Some of the tough choices were deferred," he said.
