Nossaman Litigator Dies After Cancer Battle

Nossaman Partner Terry Leuin was memorialized in the Daily Journal article "Nossaman litigator dies after cancer battle."  The article highlighted Mr. Leuin's career accomplishments and highlighted the positive impact that he made on those around him.  The article noted that, "in addition to Leuin's legal work, colleagues said they'll remember him for the congenial atmosphere he helped cultivate in the workplace." 

The article featured one of Mr. Leuin's recent successes in the courtroom when he obtained a published opinion while representing Hyundai Motor America against National Union Fire Insurance Company.  The opinion established the basis for patent infringement coverage under the advertising injury sections of the general commercial liability insurance policies.   

Nossaman's Managing Partner, Michael Heumann, is quoted as saying, "It is fair to say that Terry was an especially liked person."  He continued, "He was a very positive person and helped make the day better for everybody that worked with him.  He was one of those people who brought out the best in other people."
