Public Policy Chair Fred Dombo Quoted in Bloomberg Regarding White House Release of Ethics Waivers

Fred Dombo, the Chair of Nossaman’s Public Policy Practice Group, was quoted prominently in the Bloomberg story White House Waivers Let Trump Appointees Work With Past Clients. The story looks at the  recent waivers release by the Trump Administration that shows the White House granted a number of waivers of its ethics rules to advisers. The administration released the waivers due to a request by the government’s Federal Ethics Agency. Commenting on the release of the waivers, Mr. Dombo said Trump’s staff should get credit for engaging to the extent they did here…It shows that the president has a basic appreciation for the importance of disclosing to the public exactly who’s working for them.
