Nossaman Hires Social Infra P3 Lawyer

The addition of Andrée Blais to Nossaman's Infrastructure Practice Group was featured in the InfraAmericas article "Nossaman hires social infra P3 lawyer."  Both Ms. Blais and Nossaman Partner Patrick Harder were quoted in the article. 

Highlighting Ms. Blais' work on social infrastructure projects in Canada, the article noted that Nossaman is advising Indianapolis on its Justice Center P3.  Mr. Harder commented that the group is preparing for the "next wave of P3 transactions in the US."

Ms. Blais remarked that what differentiates social infrastructure P3s from P3s in almost any other sector is "an extra layer of relationships" between the public agency and the private partner.  She explained that because the public sector agency, whether health or education or another type, is running programs in those buildings every day, "that relationship has to be understood from the beginning."
