Nossaman Expands Operations In Pacific Northwest With Addition Of High Profile Environmental Attorney Linda Larson
Seattle, WA (September 6, 2016) – Nossaman has expanded its presence in the Pacific Northwest and added to its national Environment and Land Use Practice Group with the addition of notable environmental attorney Linda Larson, who joins as a Partner in the Seattle office.
Ms. Larson has more than 30 years of environmental law, litigation and appellate experience. Over the course of her career, her vast duties have included leading numerous complex litigation matters, with particular expertise in marine resources issues. She is a trained mediator specializing in environmental disputes, and has favorably resolved disputes ranging from site remediation to endangered species. Additionally, Ms. Larson served as staff counsel to Senator Warren Magnuson on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, as an attorney with the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration and practiced for many years with Heller Ehrman, where she chaired its Northwest environmental practice group.

Ms. Larson is active in community affairs, and has chaired nonprofit boards ranging from the Board of Directors of Public Radio International to the Board of Trustees of the Seattle Public Library. She was President of the Board in 2002 and 2003 during the design and construction of the internationally recognized Seattle Central Library. She holds a J.D. from the University of Washington, School of Law and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Washington.
