Nossaman Senior Policy Advisor Richard Harris was quoted in the Sacramento Business Journal article entitled "Lobbying Expenditures for Quarter Drop Amid Legislative Uncertainty" regarding the decreased spending on lobbying services in California.  However, Nossaman made the list of Top 10 lobbying firms in the state for Q3 2012.

Mr. Harris was quoted as saying, "Nossaman's numbers typically rise in the final quarter of a legislative session."  He continues, "The traditional view of lobbying is work before the Legislature.  But lobbying in this day and age goes way beyond that.  Regulations are where the action is."

The article also noted that Nossaman moved to 621 Capitol Mall in June "in preparation for aggressive growth in the local market."
