LA Transit Agency On Verge of $28M Win In Construction Case

Nossaman Partner Tom Long was mentioned in the Law360 article "LA Transit Agency On Verge of $28M Win In Construction Case" regarding the tentative ruling granting judgment for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority in its 17-year-old lawsuit against Parsons Transportation Group, Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group, Dillingham Construction, and their joint venture entity.  The suit claimed that Parsons excessively billed MTA and failed to document costs as required by the construction management contract for the Metro Red Line subway.  Mr. Long represents MTA.
 
Judge John Shepard Wiley Jr. said he expects to have a final version of his tentative ruling out soon.  Additional rulings may modify the judgment.
