Jeffrey A. Stava, a longtime Partner at Nossaman LLP passed away on December 30, 2014. 

Mr. Stava served as a member of the Firm's Executive Committee and as Administrative Partner of the Firm's Orange County office.  He specialized in advising cities, redevelopment agencies, joint powers authorities, and special districts and investment bankers throughout California in public finance matters.

Mr. Stava spent virtually his entire legal career at Nossaman, joining the firm as an associate in 1987 after receiving his J.D. from Loyola Law School.  He received his B.A. from Loyola Marymount University in 1980.  In addition to serving as Administrative Partner and on the Executive Committee at Nossaman, Mr. Stava also chaired numerous Firm committees over the years.

"Jeff was a highly respected lawyer and leader both at the Firm and throughout the Southern California legal community.  He was also a very close friend of mine, and of many other members of the Nossaman family," said George Joseph, Nossaman's Managing Partner.  "This is a great loss for us, and we will miss Jeff deeply.  Our thoughts are with his family at this time."
