Evan Caplicki Quoted on Contractors' Use of In-House Design-Build

Evan Caplicki, a Partner in Nossaman’s Infrastructure Group, was quoted in the Engineering News-Record (ENR) story, Contractors Increase Use of In-House Design to Better Manage Project Demands. 

For the article, Evan commented on the challenges owners using an in-house design build approach may face when diving into the process without being properly educated about it. Evan noted that owners’ initial forays into design-build often encounter problems because they run the gamut in terms of legal experience and resources to guide them in what they can and should do. One of the chief problems the owners encounter, according to ENR, is that they are often not versed on design-build concepts or the insurance products that cover it.
