Paul Weiland, Chair of Nossaman’s Environment and Land Use Practice Group, was quoted in the Austin American Statesman  regarding the US Fish and Wildlife Service’s recent decision that a petition to remove the Bone Cave Harvestman—a species of cave spider—from its endangered species list did not warrant serious consideration. Mr.  Weiland, who has been representing the American Stewards of Liberty, a nonprofit group protecting private property rights, said he was disappointed in the decision and looking forward to continuing to represent his client’s interest in court.
