Nossaman Expands Litigation Practice In Sacramento With Industry Veteran Chris Hughes
Sacramento, CA — Nossaman LLP has expanded its Litigation Practice Group in its Sacramento office with the addition of seasoned bankruptcy attorney Chris Hughes, who joins the Firm as a Partner.
Chris’ practice focuses on representing bankruptcy trustees and creditors in a wide range of bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters, including objections to claims, assumption or rejection of executory contracts and leases, objections to exemptions, denials of discharge, objections to the dischargeability of debts, lien priority disputes and relief from the automatic stay. He has extensive experience litigating fraudulent transfer and preferences actions, and has litigated numerous complex matters including securities fraud, embezzlement, Ponzi schemes, contract disputes and challenges to corporate formations and retirement plans.
"Chris’ skillset and industry contacts will enhance our already strong litigation and bankruptcy practices," said David Graeler, the Chair of Nossaman’s Litigation Practice Group. "We are excited he is joining the Firm."
