Nossaman Partner Barney Allison was quoted in the InfraAmericas article "Cautious optimism for US infrastructure in 2014," about the state of the public-private partnership (P3) market in the US.

The article notes that 2013 was a transitional year for P3s as their acceptance grew within the US construction industry.  But with multiple projects advancing through procurement in 2014, including Maryland's Purple Line and Florida's I-4, there is growing confidence that the use of P3s will increase as project lists in early adopter states grow and more public authorities adopt the procurement technique.

Barney noted, "The US P3 market also benefits from the US' relatively stable and improving economy, and the administration's stated goal of investing in infrastructure."
