99 Ranch, AQMD Make Deal to Cut Odors
Nossaman Partner Byron Gee was quoted in the Contra Costa Times article "99 Ranch, AQMD Make Deal to Cut Odors," about a Rancho Cucamonga Asian food market's agreement to install odor control equipment to elimnate smells that neighbors complained about.
Earlier this summer, 99 Ranch Market was cited by the South Coast Air Quality Management District in response to complaints about odors coming from the supermarket. An AQMD hearing board voted 4-0 to approve the agreement.
"We've worked closely with the district and we've come up with a workable solution to address the odor complaint," said Mr. Gee.
Once the equipment is installed and passes AQMD inspection, the article says the market could begin selling the food items that have been absent in recent weeks.
