Brooke Wahlberg and Rebecca Barho recently wrote an article for Law360, “Bat Species Status Ruling Leaves Cos. Hanging.” The article examines the impact that could occur given the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia overturning a decision by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, or FWS, to list the northern long-eared bat as threatened rather than endangered, and remanding the decision back to the agency.
