On April 22, 2021, Doug Schwartz was welcomed back as an annual guest lecturer at the UCLA Anderson School of Management where he teaches "Law and Management of Nonprofits." He has been lecturing on this topic at UCLA for more than 25 years.

In this course, Doug covered lobbying and 501(c)(3)/(4) affiliations; unrelated business income tax; the difference between “private foundations” and “public charities”; and affiliations between 501(c)(3)s and for-profit subsidiaries.
