On December 17th, Ashley Dunning presented “Fiduciary Education” to the Board of Trustees of Maryland State Retirement and Pension System. This presentation provided an overview of what and who is a fiduciary, fundamental duties of a public plan fiduciary and fiduciary compliance.
The Maryland State Retirement and Pension System (SRPS) administers death, disability and retirement benefits on behalf of more than 420,000 members. These include active and former State employees, teachers, State police, judges and law enforcement.
