Lessons Learned in Large Construction Projects — Overhead and CM/GC
The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) hosted its annual Legal Affairs Seminar on February 21-23, 2016 at the Eldorado Hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This program provided up-to-date information on regulatory and legislative developments, industry-related litigation, and other legal issues affecting the transit industry.
On February 22, Jennifer Meeker spoke on a panel at 8:30 a.m. on, "Lessons Learned in Large Construction Projects -- Overhead and CM/GC." This panel discussed LACMTA v. Parsons-Dillingham as well as the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) project delivery method, possible issues with the process, and lessons learned.
