Water Rights in California
Gina Nicholls participated in "Water Rights in California," a program sponsored by the National Business Institute, held on September 13, 2016. This focused legal program discussed the latest and greatest legal strategies for protecting water rights and use. From 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Ms. Nicholls presented, "Prior Appropriation Water Law Made Simple," in which she gave a brief overview of water law fundamentals and the administrative system. From 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., she spoke on "Proposition 218, Conservation Pricing and SGMA: Recent Developments."
