National Association of Public Pension Attorneys' 2017 Legal Education Conference

Ashley Dunning and David Kimport spoke at the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys (NAPPA) 2017 Legal Education Conference.

Ashley presented on a Varying State Perspectives on Defined Benefit Pension Protections panel from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, that explored the extent to which different aspects of public retirement system benefits provided by state law are protected from change for current active or retired members of the retirement systems.  David presented on the same day, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., on a Complex Real Estate Investing panel that provided a high-level overview of the different approaches public pension plans utilize to invest in real estate.
