The panel discussed the new mobility eco-system where rail systems will have to be better integrated with other mobility systems, both public and private. Panelists also looked at how public private partnerships (P3), Lifecycle Costing (LCC), changing agencies‘ role in mobility value chain, outsourcing, and regional planning are all ways to keep an essential and robust transit system affordable and attractive with less dependency on cars.
