Law Seminars International: Public Records Act Litigation

John Kennedy served as co-chair of the Law Seminars International one-day seminar on Public Records Act Litigation that took place Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at the Holiday Inn San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf.  In addition to providing an introduction and overview at the start of the event, he closed the seminar later in the day with a panel on Ethical Issues in Public Records Litigation.

Ashley Dunning presented on Other Recent Developments in California Courts, which explored pending and recent cases concerning the Public Records Act.  She discussed the Ardon and Newark Unified School District cases on inadvertent disclosure privileged documents, the anti-SLAPP decision in City of Montebello v. Vasquez, and attorney fees.
