Brad Kuhn, and co-presenter Jim Sandler, participated in the San Diego County Bar Association's Eminent Domain Roundtable.  They presented, "Claims for Severance Damages and Goodwill Loss During a Period of Construction in a Partial Taking."  

Topics of discussion included the pros and cons of regarding whether, in the event of a partial taking, a reduction in rental rate and/or business losses experienced during a period of construction are recoverable severance damages or goodwill losses.
