The 8th Annual Evolving Fiduciary Obligations of Institutional Investors forum was co-hosted again by Kessler Topaz Meltzer & Check LLP and held in Tempe, Arizona on February 21, 2017. Yuliya Oryol presented on "Conflicts of Interest."
This forum offered a thorough overview of the legal advisor landscape with respect to issues stemming from fiduciary obligation and active shareholder obligations. Key regulatory actions, legal decisions, and other developments of which investors should be aware were discussed, and insights were offered into the approaches which have been implemented by successful plans to meet long-term targets for investment returns. This year's event featured a keynote address from former US Vice President, Al Gore.
