Associate | Employment (Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento or San Francisco)

We have an immediate opening in our Employment Group for an associate with two to five years of experience. The role may be based in our Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento or San Francisco offices. Responsibilities may include defending employers in complex class, collective and representative actions, as well as single-plaintiff wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment and retaliation lawsuits; advising employers on varied employment issues; and conducting workplace investigations and trainings. Candidates must be admitted in California and have excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have employment counseling and/or litigation experience. However, we also invite talented attorneys with robust litigation experience and an interest in employment law to apply. The salary range for the position of 2–5-year associate at Nossaman is $175,000 to $210,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate’s qualifications and experience.  

Annual Billable Hours Expectation: 1,850 (which includes up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work)
