Nossaman Partner Byron Gee was interviewed by KABC News in Los Angeles for a segment titled "Rancho Cucamonga Fish Store Slapped With Violations for Smell," which appeared on the 6 p.m. news broadcast on June 3.  Mr. Gee represents 99 Ranch Market, which was recently cited by the South Coast Air Quality Management District in response to complaints about odors coming from the Asian supermarket.

Mr. Gee said that the owners of the market have hired a consultant to help determine the origin of the odor and come up with a solution.  "A number of complaints still continue to come in after they suspended all their operation," said Mr. Gee. "Which led the 99 Ranch Market to believe that there may be some other sources of odors that were in the area."

The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin also quoted Mr. Gee about the matter for the article "Rancho Cucamonga Market Declared a Nuisance."

He told the paper: "Despite these measures, we remain skeptical that we will be able to abate the odors and neighbors' complaints and that without change in the districts' inspectors ... these odors may still continue to haunt 99 Ranch."
