Port of Miami Tunnel Honored with Globe Award

Nossaman congratulates the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) on receiving a Globe Award from the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) for the Port Miami Tunnel Project.

The Globe Awards recognize private-sector firms and public-sector transportation agencies that do an outstanding job in protecting and/or enhancing the natural environment in the planning, design and construction of U.S. transportation infrastructure projects.  FDOT and the Port Miami Tunnel Project were recognized for alleviating traffic congestion in downtown Miami and the Port area, and for taking steps to have a minimal impact on the environment during the Project's development.
