Nossaman's Infrastructure Group was once again profiled in Law360 as a result of being named a "Transportation Practice Group of the Year" for 2018. The Group was previously named a "Practice Group of the Year" in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

Law360’s profile highlights the Group’s efforts over the last year with a number of leading public agencies, including its work with Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) and the City of Los Angeles on several P3 projects valued at approximately $7 billion. The projects include the Automated People Mover train system [and the] world's largest consolidated rental car center [ConRAC]. Additionally, the piece highlights the Group’s work on the $1.4 billion availability payment P3 concession for the Michigan Department of Transportation’s I-75 Modernization Project.

Corey Boock, a Partner in the Group and the lead on the MDOT I-75 project, called Nossaman a brand name for P3s in the infrastructure and design and construction space, and said that it offers clients a very well established practice around the country. Regarding the success of the I-75 project, he stated that the procurement may be the fastest that we have seen in the market.

Law360 noted that the Group sports more than 30 attorneys…across the country, exclusively represent[ing] public agencies seeking to procure financing and commercial contracts for large-scale public work. Patrick Harder, the Chair of the Infrastructure Practice Group, commented that innovation is the name of the game when Nossaman is brought in to lead a project.

Commenting on his work on the LAWA projects, which Patrick leads, he stated, Any big construction project and particularly one at a massive airport is going to have challenges, so we're hired to do construction counseling, if you will, for those challenges.
