Infrastructure Chair Patrick Harder Named Real Estate Lawyer Of The Year By LABJ

Patrick Harder, Chair of Nossaman’s Infrastructure Practice Group, was selected by the Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ) as the “Real Estate Firm Attorney Of The Year” in its annual Leaders in Law supplement.  The supplement highlighted a select group of high-profile attorneys in Los Angeles County that have done significant work over the past 12 months.  A reception was held to honor winners and nominees at the Omni Hotel in downtown Los Angeles on October 17.

In the supplement, the LABJ highlighted Mr. Harder’s recent work on the approximately $6 billion Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).  The publication reported that the Program is a “massive…overhaul/modernization of LAX, and the largest P3 program ever undertaken by the City.”  In 2018, Mr. Harder led commercial and financial close on the $4.9 billion Automatic People Mover (APM) portion of LAMP.

The LABJ said that the APM is the “core of the LAMP project” and “will connect the airport to the Crenshaw Metro station…allowing travelers to take the train directly into LAX for the first time.”  The LABJ also noted Mr. Harder’s leadership on LAMP’s $1 billion Consolidated Rental Car Center (ConRAC), which will “add the world’s largest rental car center to the airport.”  The ConRAC project reached commercial close in October of 2018.
