California Council for Environmental and Economic Balance Honors Bill Bagley

Nossaman's William T. Bagley was honored by the California Council for Environmental and Economic Balance (CCEB) with the Edmund G. "Pat" Brown Award for Lifetime Achievement, named for CCEEB's founding chairman and former California Gov. Pat Brown. The award, which recognizes individuals or organizations who exemplify the spirit of environmental and economic balance, was bestowed on Mr. Bagley at an April 27 luncheon in Sacramento attended by California State Treasurer Bill Lockyer, state Sen. Christine Kehoe, and many other state senators, assembly members, and dignitaries.

Mr. Bagley's law practice concentrates on governmental, administrative and legislative law and processes. He previously represented Marin and Sonoma Counties as a member of the California Legislature, served the U.S. Civil Rights Commission on its Advisory Board, was appointed by President Ford as the first Chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and served as a member and Chairman of the California Transportation Commission and as a California Public Utilities Commission Commissioner.
