5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Please join Nossaman partner Patrick Richard on Thursday, September 28 when he will speak on the ABTL Trial Advocacy Skills Seminar held at the office of Covington & Burling LLP in San Francisco. Mr. Richard will discuss how to properly introduce expert testimony and how to avoid expert evidentiary pitfalls. He will be joined on the panel by Judge Karnow, a superior court judge in San Francisco who recently wrote a book called Litigation in Practice.

Judge Karnow will discuss best practices for oral advocacy and share helpful tips, such as which motions in limine aren’t worth the trouble.  The panel will be rounded out by Guinevere Jobson, a senior associate at Fenwick & West, who will share her template for preparing for evidentiary issues at trial. The program will include a wine and cheese reception prior to the start of the panel presentation.
