Nossaman Partner Linda Morgan, a member of Nossaman's Infrastructure Practice Group, was mentioned in the Calgary Herald article, "Candidates for CP Board" on May 17, 2012.  The article discusses Canadian Pacific Railway Co.'s (CP) and Pershing Square Capital Management LP's (Pershing) candidates for the CP board of directors.  CP has proposed to re-elect its current board, which includes Ms. Morgan, while Pershing, CP's largest stakeholder, is "vying to replace some of North America's most established executives on the railway company's board with its own directors."

Ms. Morgan is also mentioned in the Toronto Star article "Meet CP Rail's new board" as one of those re-elected to the board from CP.  The article notes, "Morgan is a partner at Nossaman LLP, a transportation infrastructure law firm based in the United States.  She previously served as chairman of the U.S. surface transportation board, the primary regulatory rail authority."
