Nossaman Announces Promotion of Three Associates to Partnership

LOS ANGELES (March 14, 2012) – Nossaman LLP announced today that Brandon J. Davis, Patricia de la Peña, and Bradford. B. Kuhn have been elevated to partner.  The promotions, effective immediately, include attorneys based in two Nossaman offices representing the Infrastructure, Healthcare, and Eminent Domain and Valuation practice groups.

The new partners are:

Brandon J. Davis, Los Angeles, Infrastructure.  Brandon has played a key role in the procurement and contract drafting processes for several large design-build and public-private partnership projects, including the Port of Miami Tunnel and the I-595 Corridor Roadway Improvements Projects in Florida and the Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project at the Port of Long Beach.  Brandon earned his J.D. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2004. 

Patricia de la Peña, Austin, Infrastructure.  Tricia's practice focuses on assisting public and private infrastructure project owners in developing procurement documents, drafting and negotiating contract documents, contract administration, and advising clients with respect to public-private partnership insurance issues. She serves as Nossaman's lead attorney on the Horseshoe Project in Dallas, the first project under new design-build legislation passed by the Texas legislature during the 2011 session.  Tricia earned her J.D. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 1991.

Bradford B. Kuhn, Orange County, Eminent Domain and Valuation.  Brad specializes in real estate and business litigation, with an emphasis on eminent domain and inverse condemnation, including de facto and regulatory takings, loss of business goodwill, precondemnation delay, and right to take challenges.  He assists property owners, businesses, and public agencies with a wide variety of real estate and business claims, lease disputes, and other land use, environmental, and planning issues.  Brad earned his J.D. degree from Chapman University School of Law in 2006.
